      Hello,

I support the North West Air Ambulance Service through work. We constantly raise money for them, they do such a vital job.

I also help out at local schools as much as I can giving talks on engineering 🙂

Yes! I used to help out organising things for the University Concert band.

I am helping out at a science festival in Scotland in the summer so that we can spread the love for engineering even further!

Through my work we sponsor students so they can visit and learn in different countries.

I support lots of charities that are promoting science and engineering to students like you! I do lots of presentations and classes for them and hope to inspire some students to study engineering 🙂

      Hi Katnic

I’m a Trustee for Girlguiding the UK’s largest charity for girls and young women – with the Board of Trustees we look after the strategic planning for the charity, appointing the CEO, manging the risks and buildings that the charity owns – along with some other bits!

In a more local sense, I run 2 Guide units in my local area – we take the girls on residentials and camps (we’re currently off to a festival in August) and do weekly activities like sno-tubing, climbing, outdoor cooking, going to pop concerts and anythign else they can come up with!
