Question: if we run out of fossil fuels and stuff will electric be rationed ?

We don’t just rely on fossil fuels for our energy – so no in that sense.
However, if we don’t have enough electricity from all the sources together – then yes, we could be in that situation where there’s not enough for everyone – it’s called demand disconnection.
We’re not in a situation where this is common – but it does show that we not only need to look at more ways of making electricity – but also how we use electricity and finding more efficient ways to do things!

@cathy thank you great answer but if it did come to that then what would happen is their a back up plan ?

If it came to that then we’d be working on the demand disconnection for a period of time before we could get the whole network back on its feet again. We’re lucky in the UK, in some parts of teh world they only have electricity between certain hours of the day as standard!
